MEFO MOUSSE is designed for motocross, enduro, hard enduro, rally, and sidecar racing, providing a reliable alternative to a conventional inner tube. It eliminates the risk of punctures caused by piercing or pinch flats, requires no inflation, and lets you focus entirely on riding, even in the toughest terrain.

Every MEFO MOUSSE is developed, tested, and manufactured by MEFO Sport in Germany. Proper lubrication is the key to a long service life

MEFO MOUSSE must always be properly lubricated. Only a well-lubricated mousse can move freely inside the tire, generate less heat, and maintain its riding characteristics. The rule is simple:

MEFO MOUSSE should always be as slippery as a slug.

Insufficient lubrication increases friction between the mousse and the tire, accelerates heat build-up, and may cause the material to gradually crumble, negatively affecting both performance and durability.

Whenever the mousse is removed, we recommend inspecting its condition, cleaning it thoroughly, and reapplying the original silicone-based MEFO Mousse Gel. The gel creates a protective lubricating film that reduces friction, limits heat generation, and helps preserve the mousse's performance throughout its service life.

Manufacturer's recommendation

The manufacturer recommends not exceeding a maximum speed of 130 km/h (81 mph) and avoiding prolonged riding on asphalt, as this significantly increases the operating temperature of the mousse and accelerates wear.

Proper storage

After removal, store the mousse in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally at a constant temperature below 30 °C (86 °F). Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures or significant temperature fluctuations. Proper storage helps maintain the elasticity of the rubber compound and extends the service life of the mousse, even during long periods of motorcycle storage.

Installation

Installing MEFO MOUSSE is more demanding than fitting a conventional inner tube and requires experience, the correct procedure, and suitable tire tools.
