Acerbis SOFT RACE Chest Protector

Soft chest and back protection with freedom of movement

The Acerbis Soft Race is a lightweight upper-body protector designed for motocross, enduro, off-road riding and mountain biking. Its soft and flexible construction protects the chest and back while adapting to the rider’s movements. It provides a less bulky alternative to conventional protectors with rigid plastic shells.

The front and rear protective sections help absorb impact energy caused by falls, contact with the motorcycle or flying debris. Both sections meet Level 1 protection requirements.

Flexible construction without unnecessary restriction

The soft design follows the shape of the body and allows the upper body to move naturally. It reduces restriction when riding seated, standing on the footpegs or shifting body weight on the motorcycle.

The lightweight construction reduces unnecessary pressure on the shoulders during longer rides. Its compact design also makes the protector easier to store and transport.

Ventilation during demanding rides

Large mesh panels promote airflow around the body and help release excess heat. This makes the protector suitable for physically demanding riding and warmer conditions.

It can be combined with a suitable motocross jersey according to the rider’s preferred clothing setup.

Adjustable fit

Adjustable shoulder straps with hook-and-loop closures allow the position of the front and rear protectors to be adapted. The waist can be adjusted using side straps with a buckle and hook-and-loop fastening.

Multiple adjustment points help keep the protector close to the body and reduce unwanted movement while riding. The fit can also be adapted to different body shapes and layers of clothing.

Neck-brace compatibility

The construction allows the protector to be combined with modern neck braces. This enables riders to create a complete protective setup without unsuitable overlap or unnecessary restriction.
