It is recommended for riders who ride harder and want a lot of stopping power.

S3 material provides low abrasive interaction with the brake disc and much quieter braking due to the ceramic composition of the friction material. It can withstand higher temperatures than the AD compound.

Friction materials include metal-ceramic with bronze-graphite particles. Designed for dry and wet environments. Coarser non-metallic friction additives are distributed evenly over the bronze base to achieve optimum friction properties.
