Why quality goggles are the basis of every rider's equipment
When you get on a motorcycle and head out into the terrain, your eyes are the most vulnerable thing you have. Dust, stones, branches, mud - all of this flies around and without proper goggles, riding is not easy. Motocross goggles are not just a fashion accessory, but an important part of your equipment. Choosing the right goggles means better visibility, greater comfort and, most importantly, safety.

What are the types of motorcycle goggles
At first glance, all motocross goggles look similar - but the differences are huge. They differ in design, lenses, ventilation and how they fit into the helmet.

Depending on the riding style, they are mainly divided into:

Motocross goggles
Designed for fast and aggressive riding - the emphasis is on maximum tightness, a wide field of vision and the possibility of using tear-off or roll-off systems so that you can see clearly even in the mud. Another option for clear vision is to use Armor Vision. These goggles must be able to handle extreme conditions and uncompromising pace.

Enduro goggles
Enduro means longer time on the bike, variable light and more sweat – so comfort, ventilation and adaptability are key. The goggles should have multi-layer foam, good air circulation and ideally photochromic lenses that adapt to the light. Enduro goggles must not use a tear-off system, only roll-off or Armor Vision can be used.

What to look for when choosing
  • Shape and helmet compatibility
The goggles must fit perfectly into the opening of your helmet. A gap means dust and fogging. Try them on with your helmet – the seal should be even and comfortable even after an hour of riding.
  • Lens type and color
The lens of your goggles determines how well you see in different conditions:

  • Clear – universal, ideal for cloudy days or riding in the forest.
  • Mirrored / dark – for sunny days and open tracks
  • Yellow or orange – enhances contrast in fog and twilight.
  • Photochromic – adapts to the light itself, ideal for enduro.
Every quality pair of goggles should have anti-fog and anti-scratch treatment.

  • Goggle ventilation and padding
Long rides mean sweat and heat. Look for goggles with multi-layer padding and thoughtful airflow – so they stay clear even during slower enduro riding.
  • Strap and stability
A wide strap with anti-slip silicone ensures that the goggles stay exactly where they should.
  • Tear-off and Roll-off systems, Armor Vision
An absolute must for motocross. Tear-off films (discarders, mica) are quickly torn off when the glass becomes clogged with mud, the roll-off system has a film reservoir that you simply roll up. On the other hand, tear-off films cannot be used in enduro. A universal solution for clean glass can be Armor Vision, where mica is glued to clean glass, when it rains, water runs off and does not form drops, you just rub the mud with a glove. The result is a clear view without stopping.

How to care for goggles
  • After riding, rinse them with water and let them dry – never wipe them with a dirty cloth.
  • Store them in a case, ideally in a microfiber bag.
  • Do not use aggressive cleaners - they can damage the anti-fog coating.
  • Always keep replacement lenses on hand - clear vision = safe driving.
