Lightweight junior body armour with a breathable construction

The Acerbis Flux Air Junior is an upper-body protector designed for young motocross, enduro, mountain bike and off-road riders. It protects the chest, back, shoulders and elbows while its soft mesh construction maintains freedom of movement and keeps unnecessary bulk to a minimum.

The flexible garment adapts to the rider’s body and can be worn comfortably underneath a motocross jersey. It does not unnecessarily restrict movement when riding seated, standing on the footpegs or actively controlling the motorcycle.

Chest, back, shoulder and elbow protection

Soft protective inserts cover the main vulnerable areas of the upper body. They remain flexible during normal movement and follow the rider’s anatomy, while helping absorb and distribute impact energy when required.

The protectors are positioned directly inside the close-fitting garment. When the correct size is worn, they remain close to the body and reduce unwanted movement during riding.

The chest, back, shoulder and elbow protectors all meet Level 1 requirements.

Breathable mesh for warm conditions

The vest is made from lightweight, soft and highly breathable mesh fabric. It promotes airflow around the body and helps release excess heat during physically demanding riding.

The stretch material follows the movement of the arms and upper body. This makes the Flux Air Junior suitable for longer training sessions, racing and riding in warmer conditions.

Stable and adjustable fit

Elastic bands connect the front and rear sections and fasten at the front with a hook-and-loop closure. Their tension can be adjusted according to the rider’s body shape and clothing layers.

The adjustable system helps keep the chest and back protectors close to the body without requiring rigid plastic buckles or bulky side panels.

Freedom of movement for young riders

The soft protective construction follows the body and allows natural movement of the shoulders, arms and torso. This is particularly useful when changing riding position, cornering or standing on the footpegs.

Its low-profile design makes the armour easier to wear underneath a jersey and provides a less bulky alternative to conventional protectors with rigid plastic shells.

Removable protectors for easy washing

All internal protective inserts can be removed. The textile garment can therefore be washed thoroughly to remove sweat, dust and dirt.

All protectors must be removed before washing, and the care instructions on the product label should be followed. The inserts can be cleaned separately with a damp cloth and must be allowed to dry completely before being reinstalled.
